A unified East, eh?

America is not the only place with religious denominations. Christian monks started beating the tar out of each other in Jerusalem. It was a liturgical melee.

I'm not sure who I'd root form - probably just the Armenians as they are the underdog. And then I'd taunt them both, because we preach the Cross better than they do. >=o)

A handful of Taoist monks would have kicked the crap out of all of them.

What kind of a deal is this, as Rabelais put it, since the monking world monked its first monkery?

These guys don't even have a martial art to name a TV series after!

I am -- Demetrios. I will -- help -- you.

Nah.

Oh yes, they have a martial art. . . it all involves incense and thuribles.

Come on, if pastors from the ELCA, LCMS, WELS and CLC all had to share the same church building I bet there would be some shoving matches now and again, too. Add into that various Anglican, Presbyterian, Methodist and Evangelical groups to the same building and you'd get more.

Not that it's right. It's embarassing. It's just understandable even with the very few 'denominations' in the East.

If you are going to root for an underdog, I'd go with the Assyrian Church of the East. Go Nestorius! er...

Hmmm. . . are you saying that you just find yourself sticking to the Assyrian Church, almost as you were a board glued to their board.

Well, it would be impossible for the one board to be swallowed up by the other, and it would be unthinkable for one board to only seem like it was another board.
