A short Fisk

Okay - if you aren't making watching Fisk's videos every Tuesday and Friday as part of your routine... just do it.

This is one he did yesterday - an addendum.

This video reminded me of a joke.

Question: "Why do you always make sure to bring two Charismatics with you when you go fishing?"

Answer: "Because if you bring only one Charismatic, he will drink all your beer. Make sure he has an Accountability Partner so that he will keep up appearances."

Charismatics experience alot of emotionally intense feelings in worship and during sanctification (both good and bad). They teach the Roman Catholic error of Infused Grace. They get alot of public aclaim for their antics and "good works". Sadly, many of them already have their reward in full.

Take heart and remain steadfast, Lutheran brothers and sisters! What the charismatic lady in this video is telling a confessional Lutheran about his church being deficient is wrong. She is like a newly wed lecturing an old couple who just had their 75th wedding anniversery that their marrage is obviously a sham because they aren't gushy and all over each other.

Faithfulness is not measured in a moment of intensity or a public spectical. Faithfulness is measured by... *gasp* ...faithfulness!

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith . Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing." 2 Timothy 4: 7-8

"For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" - 1 Corinthians 1:26-30

As a former Charismatic, I plead with you all not to fall for their errors! Their well-intentioned false doctrines and practices can easily lead down a dark road to ruin and dispair... a dark road that frequently steers very far away from the cross of Christ.

Why does your video cut every 2 seconds? Is that intentional to make the video appear "edgy" or something?

That is simply the way Fisk does them - I think it may have started as a space saving device - I know not - you can shoot him an e-mail and ask
